A virtual workshop for soon to be new families or for families with new little ones under the age of 4 months. This is the one and only infant program you are ever going to need!
In this comprehensive series of videos you are going to learn all you need to know to help your little one adjust to life outside of the womb. This workshop is designed for little ones from newborn through to 4 months of age to help you set the path to healthy sleep (and more) right from the start.
Over the course of this program we are going to chat all about; the expectations for newborn sleep, wake windows, sleep associations, the environment, routines… plus we break down your baby’s sleep month by month so you know exactly what you should be expecting and how to make any changes needed to keep you on track.
As a bonus you will also receive a video with the best tips for soothing fussy babies and another one for helping your little one adjust to sleeping in the crib when they are ready.
*Please note that this program is sleep education based and not sleep training or sleep coaching.
This is what we cover in our videos for this workshop!
Intro To Healthy Sleep Foundations For Infants
Meet Elisa and Pam, the founders of Restful Parenting in this introduction to your Infant Sleep Workshop. Let’s start by understanding the foundations for healthy sleep.
Sleep Expectations
Infant sleep is complicated! Knowing what to expect when it comes to your little one’s sleep needs in the first four months is a big piece in understanding how you can help your baby get the best sleep possible.
Part 1: Foundations for Healthy Sleep
All the ins and outs of having a new baby including those mentioned above as well as short naps, early rising, the circadian rhythm, how your response matters, crying (theirs and yours) and so much more.
Part 2: The First Four To Eight Weeks
The first 8 weeks can be such a blur of adjustment and second guessing everything you are doing. Knowing what you can expect from your newborn; like how long those naps should be, will help decrease your overwhelm and stress.
Part 3: Month 2
The clouds are starting to part a little and things are starting to fall into place. Do they need as much day sleep now? How many night wakings and feedings do they have? The questions continue and in this breakdown we help set those expectations and offer all of the tips and strategies you need.
Part 4: Months 3 and 4
Things are really coming together now but sleep is going to change soon. The 4 month sleep regression could be near and knowing how to tackle that, those short naps and morning wake ups will be key in getting through.
Part 5: Settling In A Crib
Your step by step guide to help you build your little one’s confidence in falling asleep in their crib. This plan is a great next step to help transition babies to sleeping in their own space and giving you your arms a break!
Part 6: Settling A Fussy Baby
The baby is crying, you are crying.. Who knew trying to stop a baby from crying was going to be this hard?! It doesn’t have to be though, with this technique you can stop your fussy, crying baby with just a few steps, every time!
Part 7: Thank you and next steps
A great big thank you for listening with information on how else we can help your family.

We have been resourcing Elisa from when our son was 15 months to present, 3 years old. Her techniques are extremely supportive and compassionate. She was especially easy to contact and to stay in touch with in the early days, which was very helpful. Within a week our son slept... read more through the night and I was able to wean off breastfeeding. Over time it only got better! Not only is she hilarious and kind, she knows exactly how to tackle any situations we faced. We circled back to her about a year or so later to get help with potty training and toddler behaviours, again she came through with her magic!!! Her advice, tips and tweaks truly worked within days, every single time. She's worth the cost but also now has a social worker on her roster so we're able to use our benefits through work to cover the cost. Thanks sooooo much Elisa, we always love our calls with you and wouldn't hesitate to refer you to all our family and friends!

2024-01-29I can't possibly express the gratitude I have for the space that Elisa held for us when our baby was waking up every 1.5 hours. She was thorough, honest, direct, and most importantly respectful of where we were at. The fact that I changed my mind three times during... read more the same conversation did not phase her. She went along with it and encouraged us to do what's best for us. She asked questions and consistently actually listened to our concerns. She made sure we felt comfortable with all our decisions as we went along. She was available at all kinds of hours, guiding us through the process as it was unfolding. She stayed with us throughout the transition even though it took longer, because our guy was older (6 months) and so we had all kinds of stuff come up (like teething and a cold). She is knowledgeable, and yet never pushy. She is thorough, and yet supportive. She is caring and compassionate, and never judgmental. I have nothing but the best things to say about her. In fact, I picked her out of the three I spoke with BECAUSE she could really hear me... Suffice it to say, our baby (and we!) has been sleeping so well since he learned how to self-soothe. I feel so grateful for having so much of my life back -- my bed, my room, my space, my freedom, my peace...my SLEEP! I'm extremely glad we hired her, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I also highly recommend her to everyone around me...whether you're training a three month old or a toddler -- this is THE person to contact! Truly, there is nothing like a well-rested, predictable baby. Plus their podcast and blog are pretty awesome and informative, too. I've been keeping up with listening or reading, and I've found everything helpful even now, six months later. If you're thinking about calling these people for help, clearly, I couldn't recommend it more. They are simply life-savers! And I'm forever grateful.

2022-01-29My child is still too young for formal sleep training, but Elisa took some time to chat with me, providing reassurance and several concrete suggestions to implement now, before training. Her input was thoughtful, insightful, and caring - she really listened to what I had to say, and provided relevant,... read more realistic ideas and great support!

2022-01-29Pam and Elisa have been a godsend! After almost losing my mind due to fatigue and frustration from my daughter not sleeping well, I am proud to say that she is now on a schedule that works for us thanks to the help I received from restful parenting! It was... read more a big commitment for my husband and I but so worth it. It’s really nice to have my night time freedom and bed back! The best part is knowing that my little girl is getting the sleep that she needs and thankfully, so are we.
